The Caribbean studio of melon|design is based in Saint Lucia, with an associated studio in London, and undertakes projects in both Saint Lucia and other islands. Projects range from unique tropical homes, to resort design and masterplanning, to urban proposals for a number of cities in the islands. m|d:a believe that every project should have a harmonious relationship with its location. The environment is a core part of the design philosophy, and each project is designed cognisant of sustainability, both in terms of energy use and materials. m|d:a craft innovative and beautiful solutions and designs for each project, with a varied pallette of materials, from the natural to the cutting edge, dependent on the project.
